The Momentary at Crystal Bridges
Based on Martin Johnson Heade's painting of the Blue Morpho butterfly (1871, shown on the right), this animation flies with the painted butterfly among the trees, hills, and rivers of the Amazon. Created in conjunction with the show Enduring Amazon: Life and Afterlife in the Rainforest.
